Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13-26 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Recent Experience Preferred License: Valid State RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Required Must-Have: - Preference for 2 years of recent emergency room experience - Level 1 Trauma Experience Strongly Recommended Description: Offering up to 26 weeks of employment. Please notate your preference in submission. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated at this time, and this is a dealbreaker for some. Call requirement: None. Weekend requirement: Will work every other weekend and holidays. Must work holidays as needed by the unit, and cannot guarantee requests for time off on holidays. Expected to be clocked in and ready for report at the beginning of the shift. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 260. There are 49 rooms and 59 beds in the unit. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Background policy requires note of any license or background hits on traveler profiles. Proof of flu vaccination is required for submission. If seeking a vaccination exemption, it must be submitted within a designated timeframe. References at a supervisor level are required. Modules are non-billable, completed during orientation, and self-reported annually. Complete certain tasks within specified timeframes following signing. RTO is limited to a maximum of 10 days. Previous internal travelers may return after a specified duration. Travelers will be prioritized for floating assignments.
