Project ManagerThe Project Manager will be responsible for the field management of wireless telecom projects across multiple clients, providing turn-key network build services to customers.What You Will Do:Incumbent should be familiar with local fiber providers and their requirementsManage assigned field resources and projects to completion, ensuring that all field activities are coordinated and completed on time and within budgetDevelop accurate project plan and budget for all assigned projects, modify as needed and ensure that accurate, complete documentation is deliveredParticipate in internal deployment meetings with managers and team members to review the status of each job and implement changes as necessary to ensure timely project completion.Customer facing role where he/she will provide customer(s) with comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained in order to deliver close-out documents to the customer in a timely manner in accordance with corporate and customer standards.Create, assemble and verify documentation for billing on Sage. Understand project scope and customer service level agreements and manage to them. Document work outside of the project scope and assist Program Manager in creating change orders.Ability to work with a variety of personnel.Other duties as assignedWhat You Will Need:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in the telecommunications, or related industry3-5 years of project management experience with 3+ years specific to the wireless telecom industryStrong MS Office required and experience with QuickBase & Sage Software strongly desiredAdvanced knowledge of telecommunications project managementKnowledge of Wireless Carriers databases a plusAbility to efficiently and effectively work with heavily matrixed organization and teamsAbility to read and understand blueprintsAbility to direct the diagnosis of workflow problems, critical paths and institute remediesAbility to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issuesCustomer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approachExcellent communication skillsWork EnvironmentRequires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, bend, walk, communicate via telephone, computer and/or face-to-face contact, vision to monitor, and use basic office equipment such as a personal computer, copier and fax machines regularly during the course of work.
