Travel Nurse Practitioner – Hematology/Oncology

Syracuse, NY

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 13-week acute care travel assignment. Candidate will collaborate with physicians to manage oncology patient care in an inpatient/outpatient hospital setting.

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
40 hours/week
13-week contract
Pay Rate: $52–$62/hour (Depending on Experience)

Requirements

Active NP license (NY)
Oncology / Hematology experience preferred
Minimum 1 year clinical experience
BLS required
ACLS preferred
Strong acute care experience
Ability to work independently in hospital setting

Responsibilities

Patient assessments (oncology/hematology cases)
Develop & manage care plans with physicians
Documentation (SOAP notes)
Patient education & counseling
Coordinate multidisciplinary care
Monitor treatment response & adjust plans
