Role Overview

We are seeking a Director of Publisher Platform & Experience to support the Vice President of Publisher Experience and Platform within Mastercard Commerce Media, a newly established digital media network enabling highly personalized, targeted ads and offers across premium publisher channels. This role will partner closely with the VP to help define, build, and scale the publisher platform, with a strong focus on execution, delivery, and cross functional coordination. The goal is to create a seamless, best-in-class experience for publishers from beginning to end. The Senior Director will own key platform components and initiatives, translate strategy into action, and ensure publisher needs are delivered through reliable, scalable product experiences.

Qualifications

Must have strong experience in ad tech, commerce media, marketplaces, or real time platform environments. Hands on product leadership experience owning meaningful platform or infrastructure adjacent capabilities. Proven ability to partner deeply with Engineering on technically complex systems at scale. Experience operating in high throughput, data driven, or decisioning centric platforms. Demonstrated success delivering large initiatives in matrixed, cross functional organizations. People leadership experience with a track record of developing product talent. Versed in AI enabled product development and interest in responsible AI adoption. Clear, confident communicator able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non technical audiences, senior executives and customers.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
