Client Onboarding & Service Specialist

The Client Service Associate partners with associates across Global Client Group to service clients (Institutional and High Net Worth) or Distributors investing in, or distributing the company's products. Under supervision, the role communicates with clients and focuses on supporting the onboarding of new client accounts, delivering reports to clients, and working with business partners to service client needs throughout the client lifecycle. This role collaborates closely with teams across the enterprise to deliver an outstanding client experience.Key Responsibilities and DutiesAssist in the coordination of client transitions activity (i.e. onboarding, off boarding) in close partnership with relevant Nuveen business partnersSupport the coordination of account maintenance activities (e.g., amendments to account name, fee schedules, benchmarks, client agreements, etc.)Assist team members to ensure ongoing client contractual obligations are being metSupport the fulfillment of ad-hoc client inquiries and requestsFacilitate and oversee client cash flow requests to ensure proper handlingHelp manage client communications to ensure timely and proactive updates are providedProactively anticipate client needs and assist in the development of strategies for meeting and exceeding those needsUpdate and maintain client and authorized third party contact information via CRM applicationSupport client meeting preparation by facilitating creation of materialsHelp identify, escalate and resolve problems for any issues affecting the client experienceParticipate in relevant projects across the department, particularly those which look to mitigate risk, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional client serviceAssist to ensures preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly client reports and presentations to be delivered to clientsSupports the completion of due diligence and client questionnairesEducational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredWork ExperienceNo Experience RequiredPhysical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary WorkCareer Level5ICRelated SkillsAccountability, Adaptability, Collaboration, Communication, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Customer Engagement, Detail-Oriented, Prioritizes Effectively, Problem Solving, Relationship Management, Resourcefulness, Strategic ThinkingAnticipated Posting End Date:2026-05-27Base Pay Range: $48,000/yr - $65,300/yrActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
