BSB is seeking candidates with expertise in marketing and related fields to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing. Previous college level teaching experience and scholarly publications in marketing and related fields are highly valued.Salem State University is where scholarship meets purpose. Duties include teaching, advising, scholarship and contributions to continuously improve the department, BSB, and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester and expectations for research are in line with AACSB accredited schools with a similar mission. Regular work schedule includes in-person classroom instruction, office hours, and campus-based professional responsibilities. ABD candidates may be considered if conferred by August 31, 2027.Previous university/college teaching experience. Evidence of teaching effectiveness a plus.Evidence of scholarly productivity or professional impact in pedagogical and applied research in marketing or related fields.Preferred QualificationsExperience with and a commitment to teaching a heterogeneous student population with various backgrounds, experiences, and learning styles.A demonstrated record of, or potential for, effective teaching in a variety of instructional formats (e.g., face-to-face, hybrid, online).Practitioner experience in marketing or related fields.As a Hispanic and Minority Serving Institution (HSI/MSI), Salem State University seeks to enrich the faculty/librarian ranks by actively encouraging candidates body of scholarly work addresses issues regarding the welfare and representation of historically under-served communities in our region.
