Parcel Packer Full Time • Hourly – Canton, GA – Requisition ID: 4384 – Posted 5 days ago Position Summary As a Parcel Packer, you will be responsible for accurately boxing and packaging customer orders that do not meet the LTL criteria. Team members are expected to cross‑train in other warehouse functions, including parcel picking, as part of our culture of "We Move to the Work," supporting skill development and operational efficiency. Schedule Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm Additional overtime, early arrivals, or extended hours may be required based on business needs. Responsibilities Pick items to accurately fulfill customer orders Build and assemble boxes or other packaging materials to ensure safe shipment Package products securely to prevent damage during transit Read and interpret pick tickets to verify correct items and quantities Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Apply shipping labels to completed orders and stage for shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company policies and safety procedures Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience required Ability to read and interpret customer orders and safety procedures Willingness to cross‑train and support multiple warehouse functions Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Must be willing to train and become certified on warehouse equipment within the first 90 days Team‑oriented mindset with a strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds with team assistance Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and overhead lifting Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small items Benefits We offer a competitive benefit package that includes: Major medical, dental, and vision benefits available day one — no waiting period Company‑paid life insurance and employee assistance program for all employees 401(k) with company match Employee‑led organization Ubique Cares engages in monthly and quarterly employee engagement activities packed with fun and giveaways!
