Slalom Consulting Team Role

Slalom's Business Operations function plays a crucial role in ensuring our consultants are being aligned to the right project opportunities that suit their unique skill-sets and that enable the business outcomes we're driving for our clients. As a Senior Analyst or Lead level, you'll be the conduit between our consultants, consulting leaders and broader operations / talent functions to drive accurate data and reporting in support of staffing and hiring decisions. You'll play an important role in aligning our Slalom consultants on projects with our clients and you'll be part of a centralized team that will support staffing (resource management and talent fulfillment) across our key Capabilities, including: Strategy & Consulting, Enterprise, Data & Cloud, Customer Experience, Delivery & Transformation and Build (Technology).

Support the maintenance of a data-based view of our people - their skills, their interests, their staffing assignments and opportunities

Support the development and maintenance of staffing-related reporting, dashboards and insights across tools/sources including Salesforce, PowerBI, and Excel

Assist with our consultant bench program and serve as a point of contact for our available consultants who are not actively staffed on projects

Analyze staffing data to create staffing intelligence around our key Capabilities

Support in closing the loop when consultants are aligned to project opportunities

Establish meaningful relationships with consultants and leaders

Develop an understanding and knowledge of our consultants' skill sets to help align them to opportunities and career aspirations that are best suited to them

Senior Analyst

• 2-5 years of experience in resource planning, talent operations, HR operations, or related fields
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate resource data into actionable staffing insights
• Foundational experience supporting workforce planning, logistics, and supply/demand balancing
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and shift between tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and escalate or recommend solutions as needed
• Experience collaborating across teams and working with stakeholders at varying levels of the organization
• Strong communication skills with a track record of building effective working relationships
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Teams is a plus
• Experience in professional services or high-growth technology environments preferred

Lead

• 6+ years of experience in resource planning, workforce strategy, talent operations, or HR operations
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into forward-looking staffing strategies
• Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, supply/demand modeling, and resource optimization
• Proven ability to independently lead planning efforts and navigate ambiguity with minimal guidance
• Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple levels, including senior leadership
• Track record of building strong cross-functional partnerships and driving alignment on staffing priorities
• Ability to proactively identify gaps, solve complex problems, and implement process improvements
• Highly effective communicator who drives clarity, alignment, and timely decision-making
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI) and Salesforce preferred

For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for the Senior Analyst level $65,000 is $97,000 and the targeted base salary pay range for the Lead level is- $80,000 to $110,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
