What You?ll Champion:
Join a brand-new Hematology/Oncology practice opening in Waynesboro, offering the unique opportunity to help establish and grow a new service line from the ground up.
Practice with a high degree of autonomy while working alongside an experienced Hematology/Oncology physician in a collaborative, supportive environment. The APP will play an integral role in patient management and clinic operations.
Varied outpatient oncology and hematology responsibilities, including follow-up visits, hematology patient care, treatment preparation visits, triage, and oral chemotherapy education.
Comprehensive onboarding and mentorship program, including structured education, shadowing opportunities, and a gradual ramp-up designed to support success in the specialty.
Excellent work-life balance with a part-time schedule working Wednesday through Friday and no call responsibilities currently required.
Manageable patient volumes, averaging approximately nine patients per day, allowing providers to deliver personalized, high-quality care to adult patients.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred
Work Experience:
1 year Required
Licenses:
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
