Position Overview Full Time Physical Therapist (Inpatient) to join our Therapy Services Team at KHI, located in Kingman, NW Arizona. Weekends – Friday to Monday. Position Purpose All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in a manner that supports KHI’s vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country. This role provides a full range of Physical Therapy services, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and consistent, high‑quality care in alignment with professional practices and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct a Physical Therapy evaluation or screen. Develop an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals. Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions. Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify the plan as necessary. Document the course of patient care, including progress made and continuing need for treatment. Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals. Communicate and demonstrate a professional image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others. Adhere to policies, rules, and regulations from KHI, the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare. Assists with orientation of new staff as requested. Meet KHI requirements for skills competency and safety. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities. Assist with the Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student program. Participate in staff meetings, client relations, and marketing activities. Ensure documentation is complete and accurate, meeting all regulatory requirements. Ensure billing is completed by the end of each shift, accurate, meets reasonable and necessary requirements, and is justified in the documentation. Maintain individual productivity that meets department standards. Ensure patient satisfaction meets or exceeds department standards. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an APTA approved four‑year bachelor’s degree program, or foreign equivalent. Licensure: Current PT License through the AZ Board of Physical Therapy. Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Experience: Recent experience working with an adult and geriatric population. Preferences Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is desirable. Special Position Requirements Exposure Categories: Category II – Expected duties have possible, but not routine, potential for exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Work Requirements The incumbent shall have the ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment; stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate to provide therapeutic interventions.
