Diversified is seeking a skilled Quality Control (QC) Specialist for a 3PL distribution center in Coppell, Tx. The QC ensures that incoming, stored, and outgoing products meet established safety, accuracy, and client standards. They prevent damage, minimize shipping errors, and reduce costly returns within the distribution center.

Hours: 8:30am- 5pm, Monday- Friday

$19.50/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Inbound Inspection: Inspect incoming freight for damage, correct labeling, and accurate item counts before entering them into inventory.

• Order Accuracy & Verification: Verify that outbound orders match customer pick lists before packaging. This includes checking for correct shipping labels, packaging standards, and specific carrier requirements.

• Inventory Audits: Conduct routine cycle counts and quality inspections to guarantee stock levels are correct and that items are stored under proper conditions.

• Defect Documentation: Identify damaged or flawed goods, remove them from circulation, and log non-conformances in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Process Improvement: Assist in investigating the root causes of picking or packing errors and implement corrective actions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Typically 1–3 years of experience in quality control, ideally within a 3PL or high-volume warehouse setting.

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of WMS, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and barcode scanning technologies.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional visual accuracy to spot discrepancies in product codes, lot numbers, and packaging conditions.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, lift heavy items, and work in varied distribution center environments.

• Communication: Ability to collaborate across teams (pickers, packers, and management) to resolve discrepancies swiftly
