Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Job TitleActual shift: 2-10 hour shifts (6:30-5) and 2- 8 hour shifts (6:30-3) equaling 36 hour week Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: ERCP - experience required, ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS Procedures, Colonoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), ION Procedure Ratio / Census: 1:2; 3 rooms, 11 beds with average daily census of 20 Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days per contract RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th) Weekends: 2-3 weekends per contract Floating: None Call Requirements: 1 weekday call a week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year's Eve and Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve and Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
