What you will do

\n

\n
• \n

  Perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, commissioning and preventative maintenance as it is related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components.

\n
• \n

  Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools as well as a variety of hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.

• \n

  Provide front line technical and repair support through effective communications with Johnson Controls customers.

\n
• \n

  Provide system repair and or update recommendations and assist in proposing of recommendations to Johnson Controls customers.

\n
• \n

How you will do it

\n

\n
• \n

  Loading Johnson Controls field and network level controller software.

\n
• \n

  Performing commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers as well as end devices (i.e. Sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all required commissioning documentation.

\n
• \n

  Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.

\n
• \n

  Calibrates systems using basic electronic test equipment.

\n
• \n

  Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.

\n
• \n

  Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation.

\n
• \n

  Execute company sponsored as well as personally initiated training to insure the highest level of knowledge and capability are maintained

• \n

  Engage with customers to fully understand their systems and needs.

\n
• \n

  Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.

\n
• \n

  Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.

\n
• \n

  Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.

\n
• \n

  Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

\n

What we look for

Required

• \n

  Vocational School, four year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience or 2+ years experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.

• \n

  Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequence and applications

\n
• \n

  Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields

\n
• \n

  Able to use hand, power tools and electrical testing equipment such as a multi meter.

\n
• \n

  Solid knowledge base in use of personal computers.

\n
• \n

  Attention to detail.

\n
• \n

  Good communication and listening skills.

\n

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $22-$34 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
