Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Experience with Centricity is preferred.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Medicine.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience. Will consider 2 years if they have been at an academic teaching hospital.

Required Credentials: Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program performing all types of cardiac ultrasound in a health care environment required. One year of education equals one year of experience. Registered in cardiac ultrasound; RCS via CCI is acceptable.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with ultrasound equipment, transesophageal transducers, research computer systems, and digital echo storage system preferred.

Unit Details: Perform cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures, depending on position, and acquire appropriate echocardiographic and/or vascular data. Provide education and training in ultrasound procedures for fellows, interns, and other staff. Uses Philips EPIQs and Intellispace.

Shift & Scheduling: Call as needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
