About the Role:

HealthWealth Pharmacy in Houston, TX is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our 503A compounding pharmacy team. Responsibilities:

Compound, verify, and dispense 503A patient-specific compounded medications in compliance with USP standards and state regulations

Review and validate prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance

Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare providers to optimize individualized patient therapy

Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily compounding operations

Maintain accurate patient profiles, compounding logs, and documentation in the pharmacy management system

Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols, beyond-use dating (BUD), and sterile/non-sterile compounding guidelines

Counsel patients on proper medication use, storage, and potential side effects

Requirements:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution

Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License (RPh)

Multi- state licensure is a plus

IV compounding experience (preferred)

Knowledge of cGMP regulations as it pertains to 21 CFR 210, 21 CFR 211, and USP standards.

Experience in 503A/B compounding pharmacy, including sterile and/or non-sterile compounding

Strong knowledge of USP <795> , <797> , and <800> guidelines

Familiarity with PCAB accreditation standards is a plus

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and patient counseling skills
