What You Will Do: Evaluate, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries. Manage episodic and chronic conditions for walk‑ins and same‑day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up. Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting and related treatments. Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre‑employment, and annual exams. Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries. Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood‑borne pathogens, and related compliance standards. Detail‑oriented and confident in medical best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office and EMR applications. Respect and autonomy in decision‑making. Team‑based approach to patient care. ACLS / BLS certifications (we will provide the certification if needed). What You’ll Bring: Doctorate (MD / DO) with a Maryland medical license and DEA certification. ABMS Board certification in emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine, or board‑eligible with intent to become board certified within 1 year of onboarding. Benefits: Sign‑On Bonus.
