Contract Registered Nurse Med Surg in Kingman, AZ
You will be caring for 5 to 6 patients requiring inpatient hospitalization for medical or surgical issues in a Med Surg/Tele unit. This is a 12-hour night shift position with a requirement to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week.
Job Overview
- Shift: Nights, 312 (three 12-hour shifts per week), every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Years of Experience: 1 year
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification
About the Unit
- Caring for 5 to 6 patients that require inpatient hospitalization for medical or surgical issues/procedures
- Use of Pyxis medication station, Meditech charting, Alaris IV pumps, remote telemetry system
- Nurse to patient ratio of 5-6:1
- Floating to all Med Surg remote telemetry units on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor
- Must attend 8 hours of hospital orientation
- Dress code is navy blue
Requirements
- Minimum of at least 1 year acute care experience
- EKG competent
- ACLS and BLS certifications
