Electric AirElectric Air is building a modern home climate company.We install heat pumps across the Bay Area and have developed our own heat pump product platform, Redwood, designed around simpler retrofits, thoughtful design, and a better homeowner experience.Electric Air combines:real-world HVAC operationsproduct developmentsoftware and technologydesign and brandingcustomer experienceAbout The RoleAs the HVAC Install Manager in Redwood City, CA, you will play a critical role in establishing and growing the heat pump and heat pump water heater install team at Electric Air. You will work closely with the CEO and HVAC Project Manager to build a high-performing team, foster accountability, enhance communication, and drive improvements in efficiency and profitability. Your leadership will help shape a dynamic and passionate department.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in structuring the install team including truck templates, inventory stock, hiring team members, developing the price book, and more.Utilize data from invoices, timecards, KPI reports, and job performance metrics to review and provide constructive feedback.Support technicians in achieving both professional and personal growth.Schedule, prepare, and conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions.Lead training sessions and facilitate technician ride-alongs.Work closely with sales and the HVAC project manager to optimize business success.Address and resolve customer concerns requiring management involvement.Jump in and assist with service calls as needed to support the team.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, motivating technicians to strive for excellence each day.QualificationsMinimum of 3+ years in a leadership role within the HVAC industry.Minimum of 5+ years in a Lead Installer or Service Technician role within the HVAC industry.Strong knowledge of HVAC products and services.Ability to inspire and lead a team toward achieving company goals.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and work with diverse teams.Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to follow-through.A team-first mindset, prioritizing collective success over individual achievements.High integrity, passion for the Electric Air brand, and a positive attitude.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Exceptional benefits, including:Paid vacation and holidays401KMedical, dental, and vision insuranceUse of company vehicleSafety & Physical RequirementsPrioritizing safety for yourself, co-workers, and the public is essential.Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and use hands for extended periods.Ability to lift and move equipment weighing 50+ lbs.Work environments include hot, cold, and confined spaces, as well as outdoor conditions throughout the seasons.Regular communication with customers, vendors, and team members is required.If you're ready to be a key part of a growing, dynamic team, apply today!Job Type: Full-timePay: $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insurance
