We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support a financial services legal team through a contract engagement. This position centers on high-volume contract negotiation and drafting, with a primary focus on account control arrangements and related agreements for secured parties. The attorney in this role will manage a steady pipeline of matters at different stages while partnering closely with another legal team member to keep negotiations moving efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Draft initial versions of account control agreements and related legal documents for review and negotiation.

• Manage a consistent workload of active contract matters, tracking multiple agreements simultaneously from early drafting through execution.

• Review third-party revisions and prepare responsive redlines, incorporating legal guidance from senior attorneys as needed.

• Coordinate the preparation of execution-ready documents, including quality checks against approved templates and draft versions.

• Summarize key contractual terms and operational considerations so internal stakeholders can clearly understand agreement obligations.

• Prepare required forms and supporting documentation associated with control agreement matters.

• Handle end-to-end processing of straightforward amendments to existing control agreements.

• Work collaboratively with another attorney to resolve negotiation issues and maintain progress across a high-volume contract portfolio.

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, preferably within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
• Ability to manage numerous legal agreements at once while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Familiarity with contract redlining, issue spotting, and incorporating external comments into revised drafts.
• Strong written communication skills for preparing clear legal documentation and concise summaries of agreement terms.
• Experience supporting document review processes that require accuracy, organization, and sound legal judgment.
• Background in legal drafting tasks such as motions, briefing, or discovery is valued.
