Position: Quality Control Manager
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Salary: $140,000 per year

Are you an experienced Quality Control leader with a strong background in food manufacturing? We're seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to lead food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance for a busy Philadelphia production facility. This is a permanent leadership opportunity for someone with hands-on HACCP and USDA/FDA experience who is ready to take ownership of quality operations and work directly with senior leadership.

Job Description:

In this role, you'll lead the facility's quality control and food safety programs, ensuring HACCP plans, GMPs, SSOPs, USDA requirements, and production standards are consistently met. You'll work directly with company leadership, department managers, USDA inspectors, and external auditors to maintain compliance and drive the highest standards of food safety and product quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify HACCP, GMP, SSOP, sanitation, and food safety programs
• Work directly with USDA inspectors and respond to non-compliance findings
• Lead regulatory and customer audits, mock recalls, record reviews, and required testing
• Monitor critical control points, production temperatures, product yields, labels, and incoming ingredients
• Partner with management to resolve quality issues, maintain formulations, and continuously improve processes

Shift/Hours:

• Full-Time
  Facility operates approximately 18 hours per day
  Schedule must be flexible based on production needs
  Some Saturday work required

Job Requirements

• Food manufacturing experience required
• HACCP Certification required
• USDA/FDA experience required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
• SQF Certification preferred or must be willing to obtain
• Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and regulatory compliance skills
