Registered Nurse - Pediatrics

Travel Nurse Position

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

Required Skills/Certs/Exp:

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required

Traveler Experience: Unit will accept first-time travelers if they have 2 years' experience

Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes

Skills: Administer chemo

Certs: BCLS and PALS

Preferred Skills/Certs/Exp:

Skill: IV start & lab draw

Chemo experience and cert is preferred

Job Details:

Target Ratios: 1:5-6

Shift: 36 hours can be offered

Unit will accept 13 weeks

12 hr nights; 18:45 - 07:15

RTO: 7 days max for Aya auto offer

Call Requirement: None

Float Requirement: Yes

Float to PICU and NICU

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Patient Diagnoses: Ages 0-17, medical surgical patients and hematology/oncology

Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic, SBAR

Scheduling Type: Self-scheduling

Unit Orientation: 24 hours. Hospital orientation week one: traveler must be available for classes each day

Scrubs: Not provided. Fun Kid tops & navy pants
