This full-time onsite role based in Jersey City, NJ, is ideal for experienced Full Stack Java developers skilled in Angular and enterprise-level application development. The position focuses on building and modernizing high-performance, responsive applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Angular within a microservices architecture. Candidates must be US citizens or green card holders and ready to work onsite in the NJ/NYC area.
Responsibilities
- Develop Core Java backend services and Angular frontend interfaces
- Design and implement microservices-based architecture
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs for system integration
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Optimize relational database performance with complex queries and data modeling
- Modernize legacy applications to distributed, scalable platforms
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development environments
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of enterprise application development experience with Core Java and Spring Boot
- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with Angular for high-performance, responsive GUIs
- Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and UDB/DB2, including data modeling and query tuning
- Hands-on experience with microservices, Kafka, and REST API development
- Strong understanding of Java full stack application architecture and system integration patterns
- Experience modernizing legacy applications to modern distributed platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-assisted spec-driven development tools (e.g., code generation, testing, documentation)
- Background in Alternatives/Private Market, Banking, Financial, or Wealth Management domains
- Python programming experience
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
