What You'll Do

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing patients pre- and post-operatively
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment in the OR setting
• Assist with patient education about surgical procedures and recovery
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout surgery
• Collaborate with surgical teams specializing in vascular and orthopedic procedures
• Support circulating duties with potential scrub duties as needed
• Coordinate care across the surgical continuum for pediatric to adult patients

What You Need

• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration (must be uploaded with submission)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum of 1 year operating room experience with vascular and orthopedic surgery preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

About the Assignment

This assignment involves working in a well-equipped Operating Room with 14 surgical suites, including labor and delivery for C-sections. The facility handles a wide range of surgeries across general, orthopedic, vascular, and other specialties, excluding cardiac and ophthalmology. You will play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care from pre-op assessment to post-op recovery, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
