On-site Inventory Lead

Location: Blythewood, SC
Pay: $52,000 – $56,000 ($25 - $27/hour); excellent benefits, 401k match
Position Type: Full-time, on-site role; immediate opening
Shift Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm; 30 minute lunch

Our team at The Recruiting Pros is recruiting an organized and dependable Inventory Specialist Leader to support warehouse operations and ensure uninterrupted material flow within a customer manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production requirements, and coordinating the movement of materials throughout the facility. Success in this position directly impacts production efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the overall performance of the operation. You may be required to drive a company vehicle between local sites which requires a clear driving license.

This position serves as a key liaison between our client company and their customer, helping to ensure production lines remain supplied, inventory remains accurate, and materials move efficiently throughout the operation.

Routine responsibilities will require you to:

• Deliver materials and components to customer production lines to ensure manufacturing operations remain fully supported.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records through cycle counts, inventory audits, and ongoing verification activities.
  
• Process and coordinate purchase orders, supplier releases, incoming shipments, and material receipts.
  
• Inspect incoming materials to verify quality standards, quantities, and compliance with purchase order requirements.
  
• Communicate effectively with customer personnel, suppliers, and internal team members to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  
• Support efficient warehouse operations by organizing materials, prioritizing workflow, and resolving inventory-related issues.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company policies and safety procedures.
  
• Assist with additional inventory, warehouse, and logistics activities as needed to support business objectives.
  

Required education and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
• Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes and inventory accuracy best practices.
  
• Experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience is highly preferred.
  
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Effective organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required.
  
• Proficiency with standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
