Job Title Physical Therapist Location Florida Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Outpatient Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines. Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring design of functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities. Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations. Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements. Support organizational performance improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for quality enhancement and contributing feedback through appropriate channels. Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida. Experience as a licensed Physical Therapist; new graduates will not be considered. Proficiency in clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and goal writing within an outpatient setting. Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts. Ability to ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within applicable insurance approvals. Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting with a focus on functional rehabilitation and community reintegration.
