These positions are responsible for supervising approximately 90 employees, maintaining production standards, and creating a safe, accountable, and positive workplace culture.The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Candidates with union manufacturing experience are highly desired.Bilingual Spanish/English or Haitian Creole/English skills are a plus, but not required.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader who is comfortable holding teams accountable, developing employees, and driving production results.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead approximately 90 production employees across an assigned shiftManage daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goalsProvide direction, coaching, and performance feedback to employeesHold employees accountable for attendance, performance, safety, quality, and productivity expectationsPromote a positive, respectful, and healthy workplace cultureMonitor production performance and address issues that could impact production goalsWork closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production issuesEnsure employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and standard work instructionsAssist with employee training, development, and performance managementIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, productivity, and employee engagementAddress production concerns quickly and communicate issues to managementMaintain accurate production and employee records as requiredSupport continuous improvement initiatives and company goalsEnsure proper staffing and coverage for the assigned shiftWork overtime as needed to support production requirementsQualificationsMinimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environmentAutomotive manufacturing experience strongly preferredExperience supervising a large production workforce preferredUnion manufacturing experience is highly desirableStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive workplace cultureStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to work the assigned shift and overtime as neededBilingual Spanish/English or Haitian Creole/English is a plus, but not required
