Customer Service Specialist

This position is for the Building Automation division. We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support customers with product-related questions, service requests, maintenance needs, upgrades, and general inquiries . The position is responsible for receiving and responding to customer requests, coordinating service activities, scheduling appointments, tracking open issues, and ensuring timely follow-up. The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills and is comfortable working with customers, internal teams, and service personnel. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding products, services, maintenance, upgrades, and general requests. Receive, document, and respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels. Understand customer needs and route requests to the appropriate internal team or service personnel. Coordinate and schedule maintenance, service, repair, inspection, or upgrade requests. Monitor open customer requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution. Communicate appointment schedules, service updates, status changes, and next steps to customers. Maintain accurate customer records, service requests, orders, and related information in company systems. Work closely with sales, operations, service, and other internal teams to resolve customer issues. Escalate complex or unresolved customer issues to the appropriate team when necessary. Provide customers with clear and professional information regarding products, services, schedules, and request status. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through timely communication and follow-through. Perform general administrative and coordination duties related to customer service operations. Requirements: 2+ years of customer service, customer support, service coordinatio n, order coordination, or related experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple customer requests and priorities simultaneously. Comfortable using CRM, ERP, ticketing, scheduling, or other business systems. Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills. Ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
