Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, screen people and/or materials at key access points, and support security-related operations through clear communication and strong customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, help to deter incidents, and contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with site policies and posted procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and document screening activity, visitor activity, and unusual events as required by the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, damaged barriers, and/or other conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
