A. Duda & Sons, Inc. has an opening for a salaried paid  Lead Functional Consultant D365 F&SCM Finance  at the corporate office in Oviedo, FL. In this position, you will serve as the senior functional leader responsible for Finance solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM).

In this role, you will partner closely with Finance leaders, business stakeholders, implementation consultants, developers, and technology teams to design, configure, optimize, and continuously improve D365 Finance capabilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring our ERP platform supports business objectives through scalable, maintainable, and value-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on functional leader who understands both D365 technology and end-to-end finance processes. You will promote a configure-before-customize approach, helping the organization take full advantage of standard D365 functionality, configuration, workflows, and process improvements before recommending custom development.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Finance Business Process & Solution Design:

• Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into D365 Finance solutions.
• Lead current-state and future-state process analysis for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, & Financial Reporting
• Lead fit-to-standard and fit-gap assessments
• Drive process standardization, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Evaluate cross-module impacts between Finance and Supply Chain, Project Operations, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, and related business processes

Finance Configuration & Product Optimization: 

• Perform and oversee D365 Finance configuration including: Financial dimensions, posting profiles, workflows, organizational structure, and financial parameters
• Evaluate standard D365 Finance product capabilities before recommending customizations.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline Finance processes using out-of-the-box functionality.
• Assess Microsoft D365 Finance releases and recommend adoption of valuable features.

Internal and External Collaboration:

• Serve as the senior Finance functional counterpart to implementation consultants throughout discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization. 
• Lead Finance workshops, fit-gap sessions, solution demonstrations, and design review
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams when custom solutions are necessary.
• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with business objectives and D365 best practices.

• Finance Testing, Deployment & Readiness:

• Lead functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and business validation activities.
• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Support deployment readiness, training activities, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

Complex Finance Problem Solving, Product Support, and Continuous Improvement:

• Diagnose and resolve issues involving business process gaps, configuration deficiencies, standard application behavior, data quality concerns, integration failures, or custom development requirement
• Drive the resolution of functional issues through solution design, system configuration, process optimization, adoption of standard D365 functionality, and coordination with implementation partners, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve Finance processes using existing D365 capabilities.

Finance Stakeholder Leadership & Solution Governance:

• Act as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership, controllers, accountants, and business stakeholders.
• Present solution options, risks, and trade-offs to support business decision-making.
• Mentor Business Analysts and team members on D365 Finance capabilities and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
• Minimum 6-7 years of experience in  ERP, business systems, and business process experience 
• Minimum of 2 end-to-end implementations of D365F&SCM 
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with technical and non-technical teams
