Job Title: Lift Truck Operator (LTO)

Location: Dalton, GA

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $16.50

Job Summary:We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Lift Truck Operator to join our team in Dalton, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport, load, unload, and store materials while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts, pole trucks, or other powered industrial equipment.

Load and unload trucks, trailers, and warehouse storage areas.

Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.

Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.

Accurately scan, label, and document inventory movements.

Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.

Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Work closely with production, shipping, and receiving teams to meet daily production goals.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous forklift or lift truck operating experience preferred.

Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift.

Basic computer and inventory scanning skills are a plus.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts when required.
