Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This on-site position offers a rewarding way to make an impact in early childhood education, working with children ages 3 to 5. With a convenient weekday schedule from 7:45 a.m. to noon, you will have afternoons free while still contributing your expertise to students’ growth.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Experience or interest in pediatric speech and language therapy, preferably in educational or healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with common therapy models and individualized planning for early childhood populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Up-to-date licensure to practice as an SLP in North Carolina

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for preschool-aged students (3–5 years old)
  • Perform assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress aligned with educational requirements
  • Consult with teachers and parents to support generalization of communication skills in the classroom and at home
  • Maintain compliance with all school and state documentation standards
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary teams as needed
