Divine Mercy Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time outpatient capacity. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing clients' emotional and psychological challenges using evidence-based practices. \n
- Assess clients' needs through structured intake evaluations and ongoing assessments to develop tailored treatment plans. \n
- Implement effective crisis intervention strategies when necessary, ensuring immediate support to maintain client safety and emotional stability. \n
- Advocate for clients by connecting them with necessary community resources and social services, thereby enhancing their overall well-being. \n
- Maintain and manage accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in strict adherence to legal and ethical standards. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, to provide coordinated care and comprehensive treatment for clients. \n
- Educate clients on coping mechanisms, communication skills, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take control of their mental health. \n
- Engage in community outreach efforts to build relationships with other organizations, enhancing referral capabilities and community partnerships. \n
This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents facing a myriad of psychosocial challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in communicating with families, teachers, and school staff to create a support network for each client, ensuring their needs are met both at home and in school.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Possess a valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kansas. \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required. \n
- At least four years of relevant experience in counseling or social work, particularly within an outpatient or community mental health setting. \n
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with clients and team members. \n
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality throughout all interactions. \n

- Experience working collaboratively in a team-based environment, specifically in outpatient mental health settings. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management. \n
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused therapy. \n
Divine Mercy Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, with additional monthly productivity bonuses to reward exceptional performance. Our benefits package includes:
