That's what we're building at EVS Pet Urgent Care. \We are looking for a part-time or full-time veterinarian to join our newest location in Morton Grove, Illinois , opening late 2026. This will be our fifth EVS location . And we're not looking for someone to simply fill a position. We're looking for someone who wants to help us build something. Veterinary Medicine Doesn't Have to Be "The Way It's Always Been" Let's be honest. Veterinary medicine is changing—and not always in the ways we want. Burnout is common. New graduates can feel overwhelmed. Experienced veterinarians can feel stuck. Mentorship can be difficult to find. Schedules are packed. We created EVS to fill the space between general practice and the emergency room. We're an urgent care practice for pets who are sick, injured, or not feeling right and need to be seen today—but don't necessarily require a full-service emergency hospital. Our model is intentionally focused. No routine wellness visits. No heartworm, flea, or tick prevention. And that's exactly what allows us to do what we do exceptionally well. Our doctors aren't bouncing between wellness appointments, surgeries, hospitalized patients, and critical emergencies. They can focus on the patient in front of them. The result? Better medicine. More thoughtful client communication. More engaged teams. More opportunities to learn. And a veterinary experience that feels fundamentally different.
