Medicare Sales Field Agent

Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription offerings Create face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits Drive self-generated sales and meet performance goals Expand Humana's market presence by becoming a valued community resource and building relationships Serve the Eastern St. Louis Metro area in Madison County, Illinois Collaborate as part of a team of 8-12 Medicare Sales Field Agents under a Senior Manager and Regional Director Requirements Active Health Insurance License required or ability to obtain Must reside in the assigned territory as listed in this job posting Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community-based events and engaging with the community through service, retail environment, organizations, volunteer work, or local events Valid state driver's license Proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits, or higher based on state requirements Preferred: Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License Preferred: Background in selling Medicare products Preferred: Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups Preferred: Background in supporting Value Based Care organizations Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree Preferred: Bilingual in English and an additional language, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages Must complete the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test if speaking with members in a language other than English Mandatory attendance during the first five weeks of employment Flexibility to work appointments and/or events that may vary at night and on weekends Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information Home internet with minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Medicare Advantage plans and effective grassroots marketing strategies to build community relationships and drive sales.
