Role Description The Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Toyota of Naperville in Naperville, IL. This role serves as the primary point of contact between guests and the service department, greeting customers, listening to their concerns, and accurately documenting vehicle issues and service needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing service estimates, explaining recommended maintenance and repairs, coordinating with technicians, and keeping guests updated on the status and timing of their vehicles. The Service Advisor also reviews work orders, ensures all services are completed to standards, processes payments, and follows up with guests to maintain strong relationships and encourage repeat business. The role requires consistent collaboration with service team members to support smooth operations and a high level of guest satisfaction. Qualifications Strong customer interaction skills, including Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer-focused Service. Effective Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication with guests and team members. Understanding of Aftersales processes, including service scheduling, repair order management, and follow-up activities. Prior experience in automotive service advising, dealership operations, or a related customer-facing role is beneficial. Ability to work on-site full-time in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail. Comfort with using dealership management systems, basic computer applications, and learning new software tools. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or automotive training is a plus.
