Role Overview

An experienced Scrum Master is sought to lead multiple scrum teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working within a scrum team to enhance messaging applications and support business-critical internal integration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and demos.
• Influence team members to leverage, follow, and support agile software development practices.
• Interface with the product owner and key stakeholders to ensure delivery of software projects.
• Track internal and external project dependencies, identify risks early, and establish mitigation plans.
• Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
• Serve and support the team by removing impediments.
• Assist the team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.
• Empower teams to self-organize and improve productivity.
• Utilize scrum tools and frameworks to achieve efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Must be a Certified Scrum Master with 8+ years of Scrum Master experience. Experience working with agile methodology on large-scale, technically complex projects is required. Experience in the financial industry is also necessary.

Technical Skills: Experience using the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and maintaining Scrum boards is required. A thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, procedures, and the software development life cycle is necessary. Experience taking business requirements and writing technical requirements using BDD is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Rally experience would be a plus.
