Security Officer

Security OfficerWestfields Hospital is hiring an overnight Security Officer. The primary role and responsibility of this position is to protect people, property, information, and the reputation of HealthPartners, Westfields Hospital & Clinics, and the Valley Region's hospitals and clinics. This position will represent HealthPartners, performing duties in a courteous and professional manner that conveys a positive image of the organization and that fosters cooperation and support with staff, patients, visitors, and external agencies.This position will respond to a wide variety of routine public service and emergency support calls requiring various problem-solving techniques, judgment, verbal de-escalation, and appropriate use of force.This position requires the ability to independently manage work, completing the duties outlined in this job description and other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*Job description rankings/percentages are intended to reflect normal averages over an extended period of time, and are subject to daily variances.
