The Occupational Therapist will evaluate clients’ functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve activities of daily living, motor skills, sensory processing, and overall independence. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, documenting progress, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, and collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. The role may involve working with pediatric and adult populations, providing education on home programs, and adapting environments or tasks to support successful performance. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in team meetings, contribute to interdisciplinary planning, and engage in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation to assess needs and deliver effective, client-centered interventions. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and related healthcare practices to understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and interdisciplinary care. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members and to provide clear education and guidance. Candidates should possess experience or a strong interest in Pediatrics, including working with children and adolescents with diverse developmental and functional needs. Relevant qualifications include a master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
