Training Coordinator

As a key leader in our operations, you'll drive alignment between material availability, production schedules, and contractual requirements across MRP and Shop Floor Control systems. This role demands strong communication, proven team leadership, and a deep understanding of MRP in a manufacturing environment - along with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of management. You'll own critical metrics that keep systems healthy and performance high, while championing process improvement and the company's core values in everything you do.
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to: Supporting the Leadership Team with projects and initiatives as well asreporting key metrics in reviews. Set plans and execute on short to medium term strategies and projects
for assigned materials management functional areas, including receiving,
line feeding/materials handling and inventory controls. Responsible for evaluating, coaching, guiding and identifying learning
opportunities to direct staff members. Establish leading key performance indicators associated with functional
areas performance and reports and oversee corrective and preventive
countermeasures Engage and collaborate on Materials projects and initiatives across the
site. Foster collaboration within discipline to execute product flow
strategies. Evaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress, material
availability, and potential production problems Solves any potential production problems to ensure that personnel,
equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed Control and analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of
Material in an MRP system Confirm material supply demand and prepares necessary work orders based
on shop load and inventory requirements Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance,
manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may
experience due to any slips in material orders Qualifications Deep understanding of the application and concepts of Planning and
Production Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management,
Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing Effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal
communication) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various
disciplines and interface with all levels of management from both
functional and program A self-starter, capable of achieving functional and program objectives
as well as driving organizational changes and process improvements.
Proactive problem solver and strong analytical skills with demonstrated
creative and critical thinking capabilities Self-motivated and takes on challenges with the ability to see when
something needs to be done and react accordingly Strong leadership attributes and ability to build a team Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and ERP/MRP Systems
and process experience Desired Skills: Ability to apply Lean and Process Improvement (i.e. Six Sigma) concepts

processes Ability to change behavior through influence and lead by example Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Visio Required Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university ideally with a major in
