Veterans Disability Paralegal (New Orleans)

Location/Work Arrangement: This position is an in-office position.

Remote work may be considered for candidates with experience in VA law

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for law? Werner Hoffman Greig & Garcia are seeking a motivated paralegal to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. We welcome candidates with little to no experience who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic legal environment. This is an in-office position.

Attention to Detail: We prioritize meticulousness in all aspects of our work.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly become proficient in various software programs used within our firm.

Work Environment:

We operate in a modern, fully paperless office that relies on advanced legal software and digital case management systems. Candidates must be comfortable using technology and willing to learn new platforms as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Deadline Management: Monitor and manage deadlines effectively.
Client Intake: Facilitate the client intake process.
Document Preparation: Prepare a variety of claim forms and routine pleadings.
Client Communication: Provide updates to clients and summarize client statements.
Assistance to Attorneys: Assist attorneys with hearing preparation and case-related tasks.
