Primary ResponsibilitiesLay out position, align, and fit components together for installationSet up equipment and weld parts, using arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipmentHoist equipment and tools into location via riggings or craneVerify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members, using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, and/or levelsConnect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisorsCut, bend, and weld iron/steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, and welding equipmentAdditional responsibilities not listed may be requiredQualificationsMinimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experienceKnowledge of safety rules and regulationsKnowledge and understanding of MSDS sheets with management/supervisionPhysical RequirementsClimbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive MotionsMoving forward togetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
