\n At VCA Sand Lake Animal Hospital, you’ll join a collaborative 5-doctor team focused on general practice and preventive care.

The Role
\n As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships, is passionate about patient care, and is eager to grow within a supportive team.

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-operative recovery
\n
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
\n
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
\n
• Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
\n
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
\n
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
\n
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
\n

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE
\n
