About the Job IMPRIMIS GROUP IS HIRING - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST CONTRACT-TO-HIRE | ONSITE - SOUTHEAST SAN ANTONIO, TX $24-25/HR HIGH PRIORITY ROLE | FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT | GROWTH OPPORTUNITY Imprimis Group has partnered with a rapidly growing industrial services company in Southeast San Antonio that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis . This is a high-impact, urgent role supporting the AP team during a major ERP implementation and audit cycle . The ideal candidate is a strong, experienced AP professional who can step in quickly, handle volume, and help keep operations running smoothly during a critical transition period. Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Full-cycle A/P: review, match, batch, code, and process vendor invoices.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts; resolve discrepancies.
- Manage and maintain AP inbox; organize invoices and receipts.
- Assist with weekly/monthly payment runs and verify accuracy.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice/payment status.
- Maintain accurate AP records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end close.
- Collaborate with Finance and internal departments to resolve issues.
- Assist in maintaining workflow during ERP transition and team training.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- 2-5+ years of Accounts Payable experience (open to more senior candidates).
- Experience in full-cycle AP in a high-volume environment.
- ERP/accounting system experience preferred ( NetSuite a plus ).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven stability in work history (no job hopping).
- A dependable, self-motivated professional who can take ownership of their work.
