FirstOption Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Landscape Crew Lead to oversee landscaping crews performing residential and commercial landscape installation and maintenance throughout the Boerne area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring employees, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscaping crews, assigning daily tasks and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
• Read and interpret landscape plans while coordinating materials, tools, and equipment for each job
• Install and maintain landscapes, including sod, plants, irrigation systems, mulch, rock, and other landscape features
• Communicate professionally with customers and promote a safe, organized, and efficient job site
• Train and mentor new crew members, providing guidance to ensure quality workmanship and productivity
• Safely operate trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment while performing routine equipment inspections

Requirements

• 3+ years of landscaping experience, including previous experience leading or supervising landscaping crews
• Ability to read landscape plans, organize daily work assignments, and effectively lead a team
• Experience safely operating landscaping equipment, trucks, and trailers
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift over 50lbs regularly and perform physically demanding work
• Valid Texas driver's license required (clean driving record preferred )
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must pass a background and drug test

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8 AM – 5 PM
• Overtime available as needed

Pay Rate

• $28 – $30/Hour (Depending on Experience)
