Location: Astoria, NY (Onsite)
Position Type: Contract - Mon: 09:00am-05:30pm, Tue: 09:00am-06:00pm, Wed: 09:00am-05:30pm, Thu: 09:00am-06:30pm, Fri: 09:00am-04:00pm & Sat: (When Physician has Hours): 08:00am-12:00pm
Compensation: Pay Range: $33.09 Per HR
Job Summary
A specialty medical practice is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for their Astoria, NY location. This onsite position involves working with patients of all ages, providing comprehensive care. The role is contract-based with potential for direct hire, requiring flexibility in hours and departments.
Requirements
Current licensure as an LPN in the state of New York BLS/CPR certification Flexibility in hours and ability to cover other departments Strong computer skills Experience with electronic medical records Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New York Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience with patient care and treatment procedures Proficient in administering medications and injections Ability to collect and process medical specimens Experience in scheduling follow-up appointments Ability to communicate delays effectively
