What you’ll doIn this role, you’ll spend the majority of your time leading and supporting project-based initiatives (80%), with additional exposure to operational processes (20% as needed).Key Responsibilities:Process & Systems AnalysisAnalyze reconciliation and payment workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and control risksPartner with Operations and Technology to document current and future state processesConduct root-cause analysis on reconciliation breaks, payment exceptions, and system variancesWorkflow & Operational SupportMonitor workflow health, prioritization, and exception trendsDevelop and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards (e.g., aging, SLA risks)Coordinate issue resolution across cross-functional teamsSystem Releases, UAT & Change SupportSupport system enhancements, releases, and migrationsCoordinate UAT including test planning, execution tracking, defect management, and reportingEnsure operational readiness through documentation, training support, and post-release stabilizationControls, Risk & DocumentationMaintain clear, audit-ready procedures and documentationPartner with Risk, Finance, and Audit to support reviews and control testingIdentify control gaps and emerging risksCollaboration & CommunicationAct as liaison between Operations, Technology, and business partnersCommunicate system and process impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholdersProvide leadership with data-driven insights and recommendationsWhat makes this role excitingHigh-impact work supporting critical trade and payment systemsOpportunity to own projects end-to-end and influence outcomesExposure to cross-functional teams including operations, product, and technologyA fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability and initiative are valuedDirect visibility into system performance and opportunities to reduce escalations and production riskLocation & ScheduleSt. Paul, MN (West Side Flats)Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm CSTWhat we’re looking forWe’re seeking a mid-level professional who can operate independently, think critically, and confidently manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceThree to five years of direct experience (with project lead experience), or five to eight years of related experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceExperience with requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and facilitating meetingsStrong knowledge of project management practices and testing methodologies (UAT)Ability to develop and execute test plans and track/report defectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and influence without authorityExperience in or exposure to trade finance or financial systems (strongly preferred)Familiarity with systems such as Trade 360, Wall Street FX, IT Hub, or reporting tools is a plusWhy U.S. BankWe invest in our people, technology, and communities.
