Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

The Operating Room RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. This role requires collaboration with surgical teams to deliver high-quality care during various procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients preoperatively to assess needs and ensure readiness for surgery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patientVitals and respond promptly to changes throughout surgeries.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile techniques and ensure infection control standards are upheld.
  
  
• 
  Document all clinical actions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Provide postoperative care and education to patients to ensure safe recovery.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Idaho RN license required at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience, including trauma cases.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
  
  
• 
  CNOR certification, burn, robotic, or neuro experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to be flexible with shift times and on-call responsibilities.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
