Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job Summary: This position is responsible for preparing patients for examination and/or treatment and surgically assisting the medical provider as directed.Job Functions: Escort patients to the examination/procedure room and alerting provider that patient is ready. Taking and documenting of vitals signs. Wound dressing changes. Chart preparation. Sterile tray set up. Accurately complete necessary paperwork and electronic health records input associated with the visit encounter. Provide wound dressing instructions and discharge instructions.Skills: Ability to work well with a team, in a fast-paced outpatient office based medical practice. Must have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with patients.Education: Must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Current BLS certificate.Requirements: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferredCompensation: Dependent on qualifications and experience.Benefits: Excellent Health, Dental, Vision and FSA benefits, 401K.
