About the job    As a Full Stack Developer on the SAS EVAAS (Education Visualization and Analytics System) team, you will get in on the ground floor of a new identity solution that will shape the future of secure customer access to EVAAS applications. In this role, you will work across the application stack to build secure, reliable, user-centered web applications, with a particular focus on identity management, authentication, authorization, and single sign-on capabilities that make a difference for students, educators, and the organizations we serve.  As a Full Stack Developer, EVAAS, you will:    Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack features for an Identity Solution across front-end, back-end, API, and database layers.  Build and enhance secure authentication and authorization workflows, including single sign-on integrations for customer-facing applications.  Work with identity management systems and standards such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect to support scalable and repeatable access patterns.  Collaborate with product, security, DevOps, and engineering teammates to deliver a highly reliable Identity Solution with strong SLA expectations that enables customer connectivity to the EVAAS reporting application.  Apply your skills and experience to help shape the future of our web application and identity architecture.  Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.  Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.  Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability. Required qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.  Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering web-based applications.  Experience with full stack development, including front-end technologies, back-end services, APIs, and relational databases.  Hands-on experience with Java. Experience with identity management systems, authentication, authorization, and single sign-on concepts.  Familiarity with SAML-based integrations and related identity standards such as OAuth or OpenID Connect.  Experience using version control systems and collaborative software development practices.  Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.  Additional competencies, knowledge and skills Initiating Action: Taking prompt action to accomplish work goals; taking action to achieve results beyond what is required; being proactive.
