Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Ann Arbor, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their comfort, independence, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide support with mobility and transferring.
Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Administer medication reminders and monitor clients’ health conditions.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Document care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to supervisors.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy towards clients.
Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and health safety standards.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is an asset.
